(Greeting) Happy Chhath Puja! May Chhathi Maiya bless your family and may the Sun God fill your days with health, strength and light.
(Meaning) Few festivals honour the setting sun as devotedly as the rising one : may Chhath teach us to be grateful for every phase of life, the evening as much as the dawn.
(For the vratis) To every vrati standing waist-deep in cold water after a 36-hour fast, offering arghya with folded hands : your devotion is the purest light of this season.
(Tradition) Nahay-Khay, Kharna, the evening arghya and the dawn arghya : may each of the four days bring purity, peace and prosperity to your home.
(Nostalgic) Remember Dad carrying the daura on his head, Mom kneading dough for thekua all night, and the whole family walking to the ghat before sunrise? May those memories glow brighter than any lamp today.
(Coming home) To every son and daughter of Bihar and Purvanchal squeezing onto crowded trains to make it home in time : Chhath is proof that some journeys are measured in love, not kilometres.
(Far away) Couldn't make it to the ghat this year? Offer your prayers to the sun from wherever you are : a riverbank, a lake, even a balcony. Chhathi Maiya counts devotion, not distance.
(Eco-friendly) No priest, no idol, no extravagance : just clean water, a pure heart and the sun. Chhath may be one of the oldest eco-festivals there is; let's keep our ghats and rivers clean.
(Gratitude) A big thank-you to the volunteers, police, divers and sanitation workers who keep the ghats safe : every arghya offered tonight rests on your service.

(Facebook post) Warm wishes on Chhath Mahaparv to everyone celebrating. May the Sun God bless us all with health, and may Chhathi Maiya fulfil every heartfelt wish.
